Connecting-Africa presents contact details of and other information about researchers.
As a researcher registered with Connecting-Africa you can add, delete and update the information in your profile. When you submit your profile to Connecting-Africa you agree that the information you provide in your profile can be stored and disseminated by Connecting-Africa on the Internet.

Connecting-Africa performs a quality control check on all profiles submitted to ensure that profiles fit the criteria for inclusion. At all times the site moderators have the right to moderate profile data or remove whole profiles.

You can remove your own profile information from Connecting-Africa at any time. You can do this yourself if you still have your account information to login, or contact us so we will do this for you.

Connecting-Africa will hold your profile information for as long as:

you allow the service to do so and do not delete the information;
your profile is updated and accurate;
your profile meets the criteria for inclusion; and
the service is up and running.

If Connecting-Africa removes your profile from its service or closes your account, it will try to notify you and provide the reason(s) for such exclusion.

Once you are registered with Connecting-Africa and have provided your profile, Connecting-Africa may contact you regarding the service for administrative reasons, such as password reminders, profile update reminders, particular service maintenance news; or for promotional purposes, such as notifying you of improvements to the service or new services on Connecting-Africa.

Connecting-Africa acts in accordance with current legislation and aims to meet current Internet best practice.
