Description
Deborah Bryceson's research activities have concentrated on African rural development, notably: food marketing, agricultural policy, rural transport and mobility patterns. She has also worked on women's employment patterns, urbanisation in developing countries and urban food supply. She is currently involved in coordinating a collaborative research programme on De-Agrarianization and Rural Employment (DARE) with research teams in various African countries. Her geographical area of concentration is East Africa. |
