Description Jan Cappon has some 25 years of experience working in developing countries, in Africa as well as in Latin America and Central Asia, mostly on rural and regional development assignments. He was employed by various international organizations as manager, policy analyst and researcher. During his career he interacted with a wide variety of international, governmental, non-governmental and grass-roots organizations. He was engaged in policy and socio-economic research, formulation of development policies and programmes, coordination of project activities, programme and project management, institutional capacity building and training. Themes in his professional career are: decentralization, privatization, local participation, poverty alleviation.He is especially good at delivering quality outputs, meeting deadlines and achieving targets within agreed on time limits. He is experienced in formulating plans and budgets, negotiating with funding organizations, coordinating project implementation, financial management and administration. He is also good at collecting, updating and processing of data and writing reports. Last - but not least - he enjoys working in a team and guiding and motivating colleagues, clients and staff. | ||
