Description I am the CEO of Stichting DOEN, a foundation that supports a large number of different initiatives in the field of Climate Change, Culture and Cohesion and the New Economy. Until October 2007 I was the director of Wemos, an NGO working on the structural improvement of people's health in developing countries through lobby and advocacy. I did my PhD on the development of small-scale enterprises in rural Malawi and worked for the African Studies Centre in Leiden, the Netherlands until 2001. I am a member of the the Advisory Committee on International Affairs (Adviesraad Internationale Vraagstukken) which is an independent Committee that advises Dutch Government and Parliament on international issues. | ||
