Description Cecile Kusters is an accomplished trainer, facilitator and project manager mainly in two thematic areas: 'Participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation. Learning and managing for impact' and 'Multi-stakeholder processes and social learning'. She has long-standing professional experience in the international development sector. Within Africa she has worked in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia in various professional capacities. In Asia she has experience mainly in India. In Europe she has worked in Bosnia-Herzegoniva en Romania. Her original training was in human nutrition and agricultural extension but her professional training and experience has expanded to include such areas as rural development, health issues, HIV/AIDS programmes, community development and gender. Her key skills include training in and facilitation of the design and management of participatory and learning oriented planning, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems. Cecile is also skilled in the design and facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes, as well as training in these areas. She manages key projects and programmes in this area, both short term as well as long-term capacity building programmes, such as a 3-year M&E capacity building programme with IFAD in the East and Southern Africa region. Furthermore Cecile is skilled in 'building bridges' between stakeholder groups or individuals, particularly during conflict.
