Abstract
Includes Maps, Figures, Tables, Appendix and Bibliography. - The current study will examine implementation of the Food Security Program in Ethiopia as an integrated approach to poverty alleviation which includes development trends to understand how they interact in practice for a study area in highland, semi-arid Ethiopia. Environmental rehabilitation is posited as an essential element of this social safety net and market-oriented strategy for development. Although the constituent components of this development strategy have been studied, less work has been done addressing the sum of these parts. |
