Abstract
Notwithstanding the heap of regulations and policies churned out from all angles to tackle the problem of illicit drug trafficking in West Africa and however laudable and comprehensive the fight appear, drug trafficking has veritably survived, taken on a new dynamism and aggravated the security risk in the post-september 11 international system especially in the fragile West Africa that is still being fed with stabilization support. The study makes an inquiry into why the combat has recorded little success? |
