The study involved gathering information from 250 randomly selected students and 7 English Language lecturers of Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, with a set of questionnaires on a Likert Scale to ascertain their assessment of the English course contents. For the statistical analysis of data, the mode, means, percentages, standard deviations and the standard errors of differences between the means were computed. The t-test was applied to test the ten formulated hypotheses. From the results of the analysis it was discovered that the entire English course contents were generally found adequate and the contents for Reading and Writing Skills were very significantly found adequate. |
