Abstract
This study assessed the effectiveness of a co-management arrangement and also explored, quantitatively, the relationship between socioeconomic factors, losers' characteristics, and co-management effectiveness in Madagascar with a moderate sample size. The paper found that losers were further away from the market, commercialized most of their catch, but have higher dependence on marine livelihood and fewer other occupations. |
