Abstract
Der Blog von Minna Salami 'MsAfropolitan' erscheint wie geschaffen für eine Untersuchung afrikanischer Online-Identitätskonstruktion im 21. Jahrhundert vor dem Hintergrund der Globalisierung. Mit dem gleichen Namen ('MsAfropolitan' bzw. 'Ms. Afropolitan') entwickeln sich Blog und Selbstnarrationsfigur unter programmatischer Berufung auf einen erst kürzlich entstandenen Kultur- und Identitätsdiskurs im afrikanischen Kontext: den Afropolitanismus. Da es sich um eine Social-Media-Figur (Blogfigur) und eine Identitätsfigur (Afrofigur) zugleich handelt, erscheint es medienwissenschaftlich relevant herauszufinden, wie die Selbstkonstruktion von MsAfropolitan erfolgt. |
